Excursions & Services

Puget Sound offers so many opportunities for exploration. Peist Charters will give you unique experiences that will last a lifetime. Due to WDFW requirements, we do not offer fishing charters. We are permitted to take up to 6 passengers at a time. We can pick up from any public dock in Puget Sound or elsewhere by special arrangement. Ideas for excursions are listed below, but not limited to the list. Contact us for booking or to create a custom itinerary.

Cruise, sightseeing, wildlife viewing – Spend time on the water, relax, and see the sights. Whales, eagles, orcas, seals… there is lots to see in Puget Sound. $400 for 3 hours

Happy Hour/Sundowner Cruise – Just what it sounds like. Kick back and relax, check out the sites, play your tunes on the boat’s bluetooth speakers. Arrive by boat to your favorite bars/restaurants on the water. Starting at $400/evening 5-9pm weather permitting.

Birding – Capt. Woodward worked as a wildlife biologist (avian and herpetology surveys were his favorite) for over a decade and understands the early bird gets the worm. SUP/Kayak/Sailing support – Want a safety boat while doing a long paddle with a group? Camping on a remote island and need equipment delivered? Regatta that needs auxiliary committee boats? Coaches who need a ride? Call us. Capt Woody grew up racing and understands the nuances of operating a boat around these activities. Pricing dependent on itinerary.

Blake Island & Bainbridge Island Day tour– One of our personal favorites with extended family or friends. Hop on the boat and head to Blake Island State Park for hiking and the visitor center, or enjoy the nice beaches on the north/west sides. Then head north to Bainbridge Island’s public dock where we tie up for lunch from any of the outstanding restaurants within a short walk. Downtown Bainbridge offers something for everyone. Hop back on the boat and head home while watching the myriad of activity on the water. $800

Lake Union/Lake Washington – Voyage through the locks and cruise the urban waters of Seattle. Stop and swim, grab lunch at a restaurant on the water, or bring your own food/drinks and relax. $800

Family Beach Day on Cutts Island, Henderson Bay. Spend a day at Cutts Island State Park, which is only accessible by boat. Hot summer days offer swimming, lounging on the beach, and exploring “Deadman’s Island” as the locals call it. Bring your SUP or inflatable beach toys and tie off the back of the boat. This is a personal family favorite all summer long. $700
